excellent composition - since you have a very wide view, it must have been quite tricky to pick what you wanted in your photo- this choice is excellent :-)

thanks pam, this is one of my favourite pieces considering composition. i had just read an article in a photography magazine about composition and what to look for and decided to try it out whilst up the tower. although it seems the picture hasn't had much interest :shrug:

well, sometimes I also wonder what it is that catches the attention of deviants, as I have on occasion thought a particular picture wont get any response and it ends up with a host of :+fav:s and vice versa..exposure has something to do with it. Also, some photos don't convey their full impact in thumbnail form, which is where they first get noticed. The time of day for submission also seems to be relevant. Anyway, I think its worth commenting on :D Nice work!

what a brilliant photo and a great view. It's got a "model city" feel to it, i think it's the light and the colours, very effective.I love the curvature of the horizon, and the swooping line of the Rhein, lovely ;) The detail and sharpness is perfect and the border sets this off so well...execellent. :+fav: :thumbsup:
